The Beaufort County Board of Election has not received any completed absentee ballots for the November 4th, Municipal Election so the absentee meeting for October 14th has been canceled.
The next absentee meeting is on Tuesday, October 21st at 5 pm.

The Board of Elections Absentee Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, September 30th, 2025 has been canceled. Absentee Ballots are not mailed for Municipal Elections until 30 days prior to the election. Absentee ballots for the November 4th 2025 election will be mailed on October 3rd.

The Beaufort County Board of Elections was alerted on September 15th, 2025 that Aurora Mayor and Candidate Clif Williams had passed away. Ballots for the November 4th, 2025 Municipal Elections had not been printed at the time therefore Mr. Williams has been removed from the ballot. An updated sample ballot can be downloaded below.
