The Beaufort County Board of Elections will a conduct a simulated election test of Election Systems and Software’s voting equipment system as required by N.C.G.S. 163-165.9(b)(3). The simulated election test will begin at 12:30 pm on Thursday, May 20th, 2021 at the Board of Elections Office. Simulated Elections can take between 2 to 4 hours to complete. The simulated election is open to the public and we welcome the public to observe the process. Observers are welcome to stay for the entire test, or they may come at any time for as much time as they like. The Board of Elections will meet at 5 pm to approve the simulated election test.
