New Laws concerning requesting a mail-In Absentee Ballot. Requests can no longer be faxed or emailed.

    New laws concerning mail-in absentee voting come into effect for the March 3rd, 2010 Presidential Primary Elections.  Absentee requests can no longer be faxed or emailed and must be mailed or hand delivered to the county board of elections by the voter or the voter’s near relative (spouse, brother, sister, parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, mother-in-law, father-in-law, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, stepparent, or stepchild) or legal guardian and must use the State Absentee Ballot Request Form to request the ballot.
