One Stop Voting begins Today, Thursday, March 3rd, 2016, at 8:00 am at the Board of Elections Office

One Stop Voting Begins Thursday, March 3rd, 2016 for the March 15th, 2016 Presidential Preference Primary Elections.

One Stop Voting will be conducted at the following sites:

Beaufort County Board of Elections, 1308 Highland Drive, Suite 104, Washington, NC

Board of Elections Office:

March 3rd (Thu) and 4th (Fri) 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

March 7th (Mon) through the 11th (Fri) 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

Saturday, March 12th from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm

 

Satellite Offices (Aurora, Belhaven, and Chocowinity)

March 10th (Thu) and 11th (Fri) 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

Polling Place Changes for the Edward and North Creek Precincts take effect for the March 15th, 2016 Primary Elections

Polling Place locations have been changed by the Beaufort County Board of Elections for the Edward and North Creek Precincts and take effect for the March 15th, 2016.

The North Creek polling place has changed from the Winsteadville Community Center to the Bethany United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall located at 2766 South Savannah Road, Belhaven, North Carolina.

The Edward polling place has changed from the Edward Fire Department to the Edward Christian Church Fellowship Hall located at 23 South Academy Street, Edward, North Carolina.

Affected voters have been mailed updated voter registration cards notifying them of the change.

All other polling locations have not changed and are listed below:

Deadline for Registration and Party Changes is Friday, February 19th, 2016 for the March 15th, 2016 Presidential Preference Primary

The deadline for registration and party changes for the March 15th, 2016 Presidential Preference Primary is Friday, February 19th, 2016 by 5:00 pm. Voter registration applications must be received by the Board of Elections by this date. If an application is received after the deadline, the application may still be timely if it was mailed and it is postmarked on or before the voter registration deadline; otherwise, the application will not be processed until after the election. Persons who register at the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles or another voter registration agency will be considered registered as of the date the application is given to the agency.
